On the possibility of a fourth wave, ICMR’s additional director general has said that panic won’t serve as a pandemic response and as yet, the reported number of Covid cases in the country don’t indicate such an occurrence. Maharashtra on Saturday reported 1,357 new coronavirus infections. This is the third consecutive day when the state reported more than 1,000 cases. The state has 5,888 active cases now.
