Los Angeles County public health officials reported 5,047 new cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,985,665 as of Thursday, June 2.
Officials reported 10 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday, for a total of 32,146 deaths since tracking began.
There were 22 more hospitalizations reported since Wednesday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 524.
